Crosswords to use for an app?

Hey everyone. Just needing some advice.
Looking for a source of Crosswords that i can use for an app? Does anyone know the deal with using NYT or USA Today Xwords? Or is there a source of Crosswords to use royalty free? I'm surprised there's not a lot out there on google.
