So I have started a new project for my little one (6) while he's being home-schooled this year. I am making a crossword for him each weekend based upon things he learned and that we talked about the week before. I'm doing this in part because he likes doing the crossword with me (we do the Newsday crosswords, Monday or Tuesday. I also print them out for his sister, 11, and she does them on her own but I fill in some 6 or 8 clues to get her started; he gets the same pre-printed page and we work together).

I used one of the teacher sites this time, and it gave me a crossword but I want more of a grid and less of what they gave me. Any recommendations for software and/or help in creating it?
