So I am a member at a smaller gym in the greater LA area. We are a newer gym, with a little over 100 members. Our programming is done usually a week or two in advance by our coaches, who usually borrow it from other larger gyms or websites, or what have you.
The wods are usually from some of the really big name gyms, or HQ. As for the strength, I'm pretty sure they just program whatever they can think of off the top of their head.
A few of us have become a little frustrated, and feel this isn't the best way to see results, and develop athletes. There just doesn't seem to be a focus for the strength, and the wods are all over the place. Don't get me wrong, I'm under no delusion I'm ever going to be at the games. But, I would still like to continue seeing results, and keep getting better. And, I'm not sure how well I can do that with this kind of, a wod from here and some strength from there, programming.
So my question to you guys is, where does your programming come from? Are there strength and conditioning programs you can pay for? If so, how much? Or is the way my coaches' are currently doing it the norm? Thanks!
