What's the best method for shaving your legs/arms?

I'm new to crossdressing, and i want to shave my whole body below the eyes. What do you do to shave your arms, legs, and other parts? Are there any devices that help, or is it just cream and razor? And are there any techniques you use that make it faster/more efficient?
I'm also not sure how fast hair grows back, though that's more unavoidable, and probably different for everyone. Thank you for any advice you give!
