Hey Gang! I don’t expect this post to be a big one for me, but it marks kind of a big deal for me.

Yesterday I got pretty and went out. I’ve been out a dozen times before, no big deal..but previously I’ve been out to queer bars, Target, or the movies with my wife and/or friends. I’ve picked up groceries from The curbside pickup and way back in the day went to therapy, by myself.

I went to Target and wandered around, looked at lady clothes, bought a shirt. A guy tried to sell me Verizon wireless and I told him I already had it and am not the decision maker on the account.

Walked over to Marshal’s (Always a waste of time) then into Ross. Bought 3 new dresses for less than $50. Checkout girl was skittish but nice.

Walked over to Ulta, bought some sparkly eye shadow. Then drove to Fred Meyer (it’s our version of Kroger) and bought some stuff for dinner.

I definitely got lots of looks, got clocked continuously. But I got lots of smiles too. A baby waved at me. Checkers were kind and professional. It was just fine…totally different remarkable. Wonderfully unremarkable.

So maybe if you want to, go buy some laundry detergent and makeup wipes or go get your groceries. It’ll probably be wonderful unremarkable.
