I'm looking to develop my own crochet shawl pattern but never designed a pattern before

For any one who has designed their very own shawl or anything really, do you have any advice on how to go about doing so?
As long as I've been crocheting I want to start making my own patterns instead of keep using other people's so I could start selling those patterns and basically feel acomplished as a crocheter lol.
If you seen my previous post I plan to do this after I make my other shawl.
