Alright, so my younger sister's birthday is coming up in two months and I want to make her a blanket. I let her pick the pattern and she chose this:
https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/diamond-granny-afghan
I'm going to be attempting to follow the pattern but, and here's the kicker, I've never read patterns before. I've always watched videos to get the gist and then went with it. This one has no video and the pattern seems simple enough but daunting enough. I've never done DC but I don't think it will be hard, I just need to figure out how to read this. Is it basically multiple large granny squares? Those are also a first for me, but they don't look too bad and make basic sense.
Sorry for being all over the place! This is what I get for watching videos :/
