guys, i am putting together a gift basket for a friend. i have a bunch of different yarns (with the help of my santa from the yarn exchange) and i am thinking of adding a few hooks for tunisian stitch to it. i myself have never made an afghan using that technique but i think my friend would love it. so i have a few questions: 1) what are the typical sizes of hooks i should get for that? let's assume i'd want to buy 2-3 hooks to start her off. 2) i was thinking of getting the interchangeable ones from knitpicks. does anyone have any experience with them? what chord lengths should i get? 3) what are your favorite (beginner) patterns/projects? i am thinking adding a few patterns to the gift basket would be fun. thanks a ton!
