Hello! I am hoping to start working on my boyfriend's Christmas present soon and would like some guidance. My main goal is to make him a blanket (queen size possibly) with this logo on it. However, I'm not sure the best way to go about this. Which stitch do you think would be the best to make it look good? I would like it to be two tones if possible.

My crochet skill is intermediate and I'm fairly good at picking up new stitch techniques if need be. I have too many ideas on how to start this project and really want to have it done by Christmas so I don't want to start, get partially done, decide I don't like it, then have to restart.
