Got asked by a family friend to make a Turkey hat for a baby and I just did it for fun since why not! Only asked them to pay for materials so like 20$ for the colors I was missing. Ended up also making a surprise Turkey amigurumi as an extra because I had yarn left and it was adorable. To my big surprise when I went to give it to them today they gave me 100$ just for the hat since they didn't know about the amigurumi!!! I was so shocked and kept saying it was way too much but they insisted since for them it was totally worth it since it's handmade 🥺 it just felt super great to have my work appreciate and value like I see so many negative thing about people not wanting to pay for handmade stuff since they can "find it cheaper". So just wanted to share my super positive experience 😊
