How does one eat an elephant? A piece at a time. Or so the old saying goes.
And of course, the journey of 1000 miles begins with the first step.
These are both nuggets of wisdom, and there's truth in that. But still. I know it must be hard for new people to truly be able to jump all the way into Critical Role.
Now, before anybody says stuff, I have been watching live since C1, episode 32. I've been current since basically the beginning, so it has always been easy for me to keep up.
But, I have a few friends who are curious about D&D, actual play, and specifically have heard of Critical Role. And I had to wonder to myself where the best place to try to start really is for this show.
Do y'all try to get your friends hooked in with a few of the 1-shots, or start C1 Ep1 for "the full experience", or start as close to current as possible?
Do Critters have an agreed upon best beginning place for getting someone to start this journey and how to help them not feel overwhelmed by the sheer volume of episodes total?
