Alright so I know I know no one likes Seaver BUT she is not that bad. I think the reason no one really likes her is that they put her in as a replacement for JJ even though she could never be one. Their characters are completely different and serve different functions. JJ was the reliable people person and Seaver is the young new agent that’s still learning about profiling. I think that if people saw her as her own character more would like her. Seaver wasn’t my favorite character or anything, but I stilll liked her. Also, Seaver and Reid’s relationship was really cute and could’ve been a nice addition to the story. People like to point out the scene where Reid is talking to her about something in his rambling way and Seaver interrupts him and says “sorry” sorry for what “sorry for asking”. Obviously that’s not a nice thing to do, but Seaver isn’t really a nice character. Jj would have never have done that. However, multiple people throughout the series make jokes like that at Reid’s expense and interrupt him. Most notably Morgan. That doesn’t make all of them bad people it was more like a running joke in the series. Although, really I think that if they had just handled her character better then people would like her more, but Intead they tried to make her a JJ replacement and the fans held onto that.
