Wheat do you guys think about the concept of victimology? Is it taken seriously enough? Does it need more or less consideration in today’s climate?
I’ve seen many scenarios in which there are certain crimes that tend to be neglected compared to others. There are also certain people who are prone to things like repeat victimization, according to criminologists.
For instance, people who have been victims of childhood abuse are more likely to find themselves being victims of domestic/interpersonal violence as adults.
These findings seem pretty important. So why does this model seem to be so loosely referred to?
