Foiling - please help

I really love foiling on my cricut but find that it rubs off easily. It just goes very faint, I mainly use it for handmade cards so they are touched quite a bit. Not sure if this is something that you can do but is there a way to seal the foil? So it doesnโt fade by people touching it? Thanks in advance
