What do you think changed between the two versions?

I personally think Sigrid was meant to be Ithan’s mate and they were both going to be Prime. She has said in interviews that sometimes when she goes to actually write a couple, the chemistry doesn’t work and she has to shift gears, and I think that’s what happened here. To me, the plot line with Sigrid went nowhere and made no sense and I think it’s because she made this change.

Another small gripe I had that I think was affected by the rewrite is the dialogue. I wouldn’t have had as much of an issue with Bryce’s sassiness if her dialogue didn’t feel so cringy to me. I also found most of the men to have similar/repetitive speech patterns, and even the Ocean Queen answered a question with “Honestly? ….”

Overall, I did really enjoy it, but I think it felt rushed, possibly due to the rewrite.
