Customer developed obsession with me.
Post Body

Okay so I'm 23f, and this happened when I was stripping. I'm trying to keep this account as SFW as possible, so there won't be anything graphic in here in respect to the trade. I know that may be refreshing to some and disappointing to others, but so be it I guess.

I was a waitress at the club for a while before I started dancing, so I knew the regular customers. When I started actually dancing at the club it was a whole new monster. People that I knew treated me a whole lot different. Almost like I was a different person. I was no longer the waitress in the tank top and denim shorts. I was now the dancer with heels and lingerie. Totally different vibes once I crossed over.

So there was this one customer. He was maybe a year or two older than me. I dont know much about him personally other than he worked at a hardware store and came in every other week with some work friends. He was nice, albeit a little on the shy side.

One night two of his coworkers decided to pay for a private dance for him. This would be where I came into the mix. The thing is, he just didn't want to get a lap dance once we got back there. He just sort of started venting about his life and the girl that he was dating that he was sure was either cheating on him or didn't love him anymore. I just sort of sat there and listened. I didn't know what else to do.

Once the time in the room was up I walked him back to his table and gave him a hug and told him thank you for keeping me company. Then I went on about my regular duties.

So this seemed to spark something in him. He messaged me on Facebook, which was a completely private account. He told me thank you for listening to him and asked if he could take me out for dinner. I told him that I had a boyfriend but that I appreciated his offer.

Then the messages got more frequent over the next two days. He started asking me things like "why are you so f**king evil?". I didn't respond and he started calling me a variety of slurs. I ended up just blocking him from Facebook because I was so creeper by the switch in him that flipped.

I open my Instagram like a day later to an assortment of messages. One of them mentioned that if he ended up hurting himself or somebody else it was going to be my fault and that his family would forever hate me. I blocked him from that too and called the police. Police didn't seem to follow up from my understanding. I was never told anything about it, but this happened within about a four day period or so, so I feel I should have heard something.

I got lucked out when I went back to work and he ended up showing up. He came over to me looking like he had been crying. Thankfully I had notified our manager at the time and the head bouncer, who quickly apprehended him and phoned the police.

To those that may ask, he was admitted for psychological treatment after the incident and to my knowledge hasn't been released. I do hope that he gets the help that he needs and can one day possibly live a normal life again. Buti can't help but feel that I dodged a bullet. Had I not told anyone I could potentially be food for worms right now.

I've since left stripping in order to pursue a different career, all unrelated to this one incident. I have had weird experiences in the club in all my time working there between waitressing/dancing/bartending, but this is the one that always sort of stuck in my head. I've done well to move past it, but there is always just a lingering thought.

Thanks for reading yall. I appreciate you listening to the therapy session haha. I hope everybody has a lovely Friday evening 🥰❤
