Iāve been reflecting today on the several unsettling encounters Iāve had while walking around my neighborhood in the past year. I realize none of them are quite as creepy as most of the other stories on here, but figured Iād share anyway.
The first was the very, very large man whose face I couldnāt make out (but who I definitely didnāt know) who growled āfuck youā at me from across the street late at night.
Then there was the guy around my own age (25) who followed me down the street in his car because he wouldnāt believe that I wasnāt āDan,ā a kid who had apparently snuck out of his house a few blocks away. Granted I look kinda young, but Iām still an adult male, and clearly not a kid.
And the creepiest, to me, was the time that the wall of bushes I was walking past started rustling, a guy popped out, stared at me, said āsorry,ā then slowly sauntered away down the middle of the street.
Good times
