Hopefully this is the correct sub to post this in.

Last week I decided to go hang out with 2 of my friends, and we only hung for 2 hrs because one of them had work at 4am, after we were done hanging out we left and I dropped off my other friend back at his place.

As I'm driving I decided to get something to eat, so I hit jack in the box. After doing so I'm driving back home and once I pull up to the drive way I see my door is wide open. My heart immediately dropped. So with the front of the house we have 2 doors, a metal one and a wooden one. The metal door was wide open and the wooden door was closed.

I immediately freaked the hell out, cause i remembered that before I left I knew I closed and locked the metal door and I know I did.

I walked right inside the house, closed and locked both doors. Ran into my room and asked my brother who left the doors opened and unlocked, he said it was our step sister cause she just cleaned her shoes and was letting them dry. I was extremely angry because why would you leave one door wide open and the other one unlocked.

I'm just glad I got home right one time, who knew what would've happened had I stayed longer at my friends house. After that I had to use the bathroom and my other brother was in there, so I was chilling in the living room waiting to use the bathroom, and suddenly. I hear the door knob of the outside door as if someone was trying to open it. At first I was telling myself that it was nothing and then 2nd time it happened again and I freaked out, I ran back to my room and told my brother to get something sharp cause there is someone trying to enter the house.

He gets a screwdriver and I get my scissors and we went back to the living room and start looking through the windows trying to find the person. We couldn't see anything or anyone so we assumed they left without any luck of entering the house.

After my other brother is done with the bathroom and I used, after I exit my brother with the screwdriver told me heard the door knob shake again and I my heart dropped cause we assumed this person left. We checked the windows again and we couldn't see anything and considering the fact that the windows are covered in Halloween decorations made it even harder to see through.

After that we doubled check both doors were locked and went to bed.

The next day I explained to my dad everything that happened. So he adjusted the security camera that faces the back yard to face the driveway just incase something like that ever happens again.

Moral of the story, I'm just glad I made it home. Had I been gone all night who knew what would've had happened.
