I need help creating a list of possible scenarios to feed from.
Post Body

You are a space exploring vessel traveling through space and you come across a new star system. Come up with a storyline for what happens in this star system. Is it a scientific mission? Is it first contact with a peaceful species? Is it a waring culture who will try to shoot me down as soon as I'm in range? Create a short summery of what happens on this mission.

I'm creating a treatment for a possible future PC game in which you explore the galaxy, and each star you visit will have a scenario. That will play out in the game and your task in the game is simply to do what you can. Do you want to just observe and let the scenario play out unaided, do you want to try to help? The choice is up to you. ...It's NOT Star Trek, but, yeah, it will play out simular to Star Trek. You're the captain, it's a strategy game, and your choices and decisions effect the galaxy around you.

I have about 50 diffrent scenarios already figured out...but there are a lot of stars out there, so I need more. Write up a brief summery of your scenario, just enough to give me an idea of the concept and I can fill in the blanks of world building from there.

I'm looking for 14 diffrent types of scenarios to fill this virtual galaxy. These descriptions will give you an idea of the variety of scenarios I'm looking for, but I need more specific details for each individual star system.

1 - a star system with minimal resources and no life. 2- a star system with abundant resources and no life. 3 - a star system with a cosmic occurrence happening that's worth studying. 4 - a star system with a planet with peaceful non-sentient life (Plants and Animals, perfect for establishing a colony) 5 - a star system with sentient prehistoric life on it (Early humanoid tribes, no solid civilization yet) 6 - a star system with peaceful industrial age civilizations (1700-1960 Era creatures) 7 - a star system with peaceful early space age creatures (They have the ability of flight and they can explore their own star system, but they can't leave their star system yet.) 8 - a star system of space traveling Era creatures (You may encounter their race when you find their home planet, or you might encounter them out in apace traveling around just like you) 9 - a star system with planets that could support life, but don't. (A good location to attempt terraforming) 10 - a star system with dangerous non-sentient life. (The animals and plants want to kill you) 11 - a star system with dangerous industrial Era life. (Think a planet engulfed in a world War or some other dangerous threat) 12 - a star system with dangerous space level life. (They feel threatened by your arrival and they may attack, or perhaps they see your advanced technology and they want it, either way, you can't trust them.) 13- a star system with dangerous space traveling Era creatures (they're exploring the galaxy just like you, attacking as they go) 14 - a star system that contains the ultimate threat (I already have this one figured out but it's a race of creatures spreading out killing and strip mining as they go. They need meat and they need metals to build more space. They go from star system to star system harvesting everything they can and leaving behind only what they can't use. If not stopped, they will strip mine thebentire galaxy including Earth. Like I said, I already have this one pretty much locked down, but if anyone can vote up with a fun alternative boss level bad guy, I do plan on making expansion packs if this game does well.
