[bug] Weird disappearing map

So as I am exploring the map gets updated as usual, but then the tiles start slowly shrinking until they disappear. The only exception is the 4 center tiles which look as though they are disappearing diagonally. Teleporters, signs, everything else works fine.
I am running the game on Linux through Wine. (yes, yes, i konw...)
P.S. I put the [bug] tag because of my sheer ignorance on Reddit's workings. Apologies.
