HELP finding air dry clay

I'm wanting to make anime figures out of clay and I believe many artists use air dry or paper clay but none of the ones I've tried seem right. They're spongy, don't harden, don't stretch and can't be mixed together. I want clay that's not sticky but adheres to itself, has stretch and can be rolled very thin. Any recommendations for what brands should I try?
