Hey!! I’m a scout leader and our beavers are going on their first camp in 2 weeks, we have bought them all a 100% polyester fleece blanket for them to sew badges onto. But we would like to add their name to them somehow. It would need to be long lasting as this is intended to last them till they leave explorers in 10 yrs time

How would you suggest doing this??

I have a Cricut but never done any HTV and don’t have a heat press (have a regular iron but the temperature control is really bad)

We were considering embroidering names on if we used 6 strands of embroidery thread would it stand out? And if so what’s the best stitch so it’s not messy on the back.

The other thing I was thinking was cutting out the letters in either felt or fabric and sticking them on, my first thought was heat n bond but the blanket says don’t iron and as my iron is so dodgy I don’t want to melt it Could I use fabric glue to stick it down?

Or if you have any other suggestions please let me know!!! We are running out of time and are not sure what’s best :)
