"Manners"

As someone who came from a house of neglect idk if it's just me but the whole idea of having "manners" and being "proper and decent", just seem like an excuse to be an asshole or some cheat code to being kind.
I swear the most annoying and mean people love hiding behind having manners, they also love being judgemental just because they're "well-mannered" even though they're assholes to everyone
