The video switches between the love affair of his past self with his partner watching and planning murder.

The video ends with the past girlfriend poisoning his lover, and than he snaps to the present where the same girl holds him in the present in their living room.

They leave for the day, and he runs into the modern day incarnation of his past lover in an elevator, the stay silent and she walks out.

He tries to catch up to say something, but she is already in a car with someone else and his girl catches up with him and they both go there seperate ways.
