Can I just say first of all well done today to the players that stepped up (and the ones that stayed on the park) and just a funny observation Iāve noticed with British sports fans: they have a tendency to be very pessimistic as soon as things donāt go their way. Iāve noticed all the pundits already trying to pile on āwe always said they were brittle and a couple of injuries has proven thatā and all of that kind of clap trap. Donāt be one of them. Getting all pissy and out of shape when things are bad is the lazy way out. Remember they almost won this game twice, they almost drew it once and they finished the game with like 4 of their starters.
Here is what will happen now: New blood will come into the side next (thatās a given). Players that havenāt been played much will also be included and they will all be incredibly hungry to prove themselves. Players like Dier will be happy to market themselves for the transfer window at the very least and NOW is where youāll see the real class of Ange. The idiot pundits will be shocked at how good the team looks with the likes of Mickey and Maddison out and Spurs will probably win the game and the next one. Just keep the faith, criticise where itās constructive and most importantly keep enjoying the ride because it will all be over sooner than you think!
