He had a down season last year coming off a late year ACL and we’re two games into this season, neither of which has been ideal to push the ball downfield to him. Let’s give him more than these two games before we start drawing conclusions. he’s a more than competent #3.
That being said, his contract probably gets him cut if he’s unwilling to rework it in the off-season if this is the new status quo.
He was just fine between injuries in 2021, he strained a calf early and missed half the season (before short term IR is what it is now), and had the acl tear late.
As stated, he struggled last year (like a lot of guys do after a catastrophic knee injury.
So I’m sorry man, but agree to disagree here.
