Are these print or actual alligator skin ?

This is my first pair of nice boots like this but I found them on Facebook marketplace for 45 dollars on the boot box the price showed 299.95 so I got a great deal on them but how can I tell if they are real or they are knock offs ? And also do they look like men’s boots or women’s it doesn’t say on the box anywhere
