Hi all
I got into a near collision yesterday which resulted in me having to suddenly brake and veer to the right side. In doing so, the handle bar got misaligned to one side and the wheel to start rubbing against the calliper and front mudguard.
I’ve re-centred the handle bars and tightened the bolts, however the front wheel is continuously rubbing against the top of the mudguard and against the calliper.
Now I thought this was a quick fix by re-aligning the hydraulic brakes so I decided to do that, but in doing so I believe I unscrewed the back of the brake unit which resulted in a bit of fluid leaking. Now the front brakes don’t work at all and the wheel is still rubbing against both the mudguard and brake
Would I be right in thinking that some air has entered the system and caused this malfunction?
I’m taking this bike to get checked out on Monday but just worried about doing so without a front brake and the shop being 8 miles away
