Covid gave me anxiety, panic attacks and depression

Post Body

I had Covid double pneumonia in October 2021, it took me 3 weeks to recover. Then In December 2021, a random weekday evening, finished reading a book in bed and I was hit with the most intense panic attack, racing heart, cold sweats, racing mind, shortness of breath. Every single night around 6-8pm I would be slammed with a severe, long lasting attack. Long story short I checked myself into a psych hospital 3 times, went on an antidepressant that stopped these attacks. Late March is when I started feeling like myself so essential I spent Oct 21-March 22 very sick and debilitated.

It’s coming out now that 1 in 5 people who recovered from Covid, within 3 months end up diagnosed with anxiety and/or depression.
