Post Body
I am at 16.5 months.
Sometimes it feels like this will go on forever.
But today I was thinking back about how I felt in Dec 2023/Jan 2024:
- One day back then I went on a walk in cold air and had scary air hunger for hours afterward.
- I no longer get bad air hunger episodes (even in cold air), just regular shortness of breath.
- One day back then I did a 10 minute online chess game and had intense brain fog and physical symptoms for the rest of the day.
- Now I need to do more like 2-4 hours of concentration (like playing Factorio or reading code) to set it off.
- One day back then I got winded walking around the backyard for a couple minutes picking up branches that'd been blown down by a storm. I had to sit down to catch my breath.
- Now I can mow my entire, large backyard (caveat: if and only if I do careful pacing, taking breaks every few minutes when my heart rate shoots up).
So there is progress in my case. It's just _ridiculously_ slow. And it's hard to notice if all I do is look at the day-to-day, because the day-to-day can vary.
