did anyone’s voice ever return to normal? my singing voice is a shadow of what it used to be, for two years now. it was almost everything to me. i just want some hope that perhaps it’s not too late. that maybe when my nervous system/vagus nerve dysfunction/mcas gets back to normal, it’ll return to its old self. otherwise, what the hell is the point, anymore. i gave myself a concussion the year before last, due to having this, and nobody caring or believing me. i ended up with another long-term affliction: post-concussion syndrome. another invisible condition that no one will even try to comprehend or acknowledge. i suffer in silence. i’m truly just a very broken-down person, now. waiting for the light at the end of the tunnel. waiting for life to throw me a bit of mercy. i guess no one is immune to life’s cruelties. or we were over-immune. isn’t that right?
