Hi! I recently enrolled at West Valley college in SJ to pursuit court reporting. I’m unsure which class should I take first to get started? Does it matter which courses to focus on first? Or just take whatever I can get into? Or some classes are better taken with others? Would it be fine to take Theory Skill Development along with Stenographic Machine Theory 1 ?? I’ve looked through the 2024-2025 catalog and I’m still trying to figure it out.

Edit: Is there a class that would be better to take in-person? I’m hoping to take most of it online, but will make a commute if I have to. It’s just I’ll be driving out of town to attend in person.
