I havent really listened to a lot of country, and most of what I have heard is either surface level or very borderline not country, I want to get into it more!!

I've been listening to "Kiss Another Day Goodbye" by David Kauffmann, and LOVE it. It's on the very edge of being country though, much more folky. But I was wondering if there was any country that gets that feeling across? The lonely melancholy feeling, the airy spacious feeling? Thanks!!
