So, for context, at my college, I get to take voice lessons as part of my choir scholarship, and we have to do four songs: two that are picked by the instructor, which are choral pieces, and two songs that I get to pick. For me, it’s one musical theater piece and one song from any other genre, and country just fits my voice the best. I’ve been going between these two pieces, but if there’s another song that you think would be fun to work through in voice lessons, I’d gladly appreciate suggestions. Just keep in mind I’m a baritone/bass, so think of people like Waylon, Don Williams, Hank Sr. and Jr., Johnny Cash, etc.
