I stream a lot of CSGO on Twitch and I'm happy to say that I recently hit 2,000 followers for it. My main shtick on my channel is that I shoutcast a lot of casual games, and a lot of people enjoy what I do, hence the 2k. But for the longest time, and with many requests from viewers, I've wanted to get into the actual competitive scene with this. I would love to start casting real tournaments and real esport-style matches, but I feel that the scene for this is very hard to navigate. I honestly don't know where I would start but many people have suggested that I just spectate live matches and commentate, but I also know that valve somewhat recently cracked down on unofficial broadcasts of major league games. I'm not trying to get banned on twitch for "Infringing Copyright" or however they were justifying it. Is there an organization I would want to consider joining or should I go about just re-streaming minor/major league games in the hopes of getting noticed? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
