Sorry if this has been asked ad nauseam, but I'd like to set up an offline LAN multi-player Counter-Strike game to play with my kids. We're coming from Valorant, but not fussy at all about graphics, etc.

I previously managed to get a CS 1.6 multiplayer thing going, but not sure now where I downloaded it from or which of the numerous ones are safe to download. Just want to enjoy the kind of team deathmatch FPS with the kids without the hassle of toxic players, smurfs, and etc.

All suggestions appreciated!
