First time using couchsurfing to meet travelers

Hey fellow couchsurfers, I will be doing a solo travelling trip to Manila this Wednesday (20th June). I will be staying in Malate.

Duration of travel: About 10 days

Budget: Pretty tight since I don't want to break the bank

Interests: Meeting fellow locals and travelers to socialize and expand my network. Exploring local places that are publicized by the media. Getting involved in parties and events.

Any tips on meeting fellow couchsurfers?

*If any of you guys are travelling to Manila around the 20th of June or the following days or leaving there, let me know if you are open to meet up and hang out. Cheers!
