I've always wanted to cosplay Hanbei from Samurai Warriors, but I have a huge problem. I don't exactly know where to start and although I have been led to cosplay pictures, I haven't found anything about making the outfit, armor, nor weapon. I've asked around, but with either no one answering my cries for help or jerks being jerks to me, telling me to not even cosplay it, let alone make it. I suppose you guys are my only hope.

I would like to get this done by Youmacon 2k15 (a little less than a year away, but if it's a long process I can wait off on it if I must) so I was wondering where do I start and where do I go from there?
