Post Body

Hi, as the title suggests, I'm a bigger guy (weight, and to an extent height but I'm not super tall) looking for advice on a character to cosplay.

I plan on going to Wizard World again this year, and would like to cosplay again. Last year, I was my interpretation of the boss from the Saints Row games since there's creative freedom in the games to look like whoever you want. This year, I would like to be someone more easily recognizable. My sister and I are going, and she's doing a DC comics based character, but I don't really know too much about DC and am more a Marvel fan. I have many interests (Marvel, video games, Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Power Rangers to name a few) but unfortunately there aren't a lot of bigger guys featured in those.

Price wise, I can't spend too much, but could spend more money if I'm buying clothes or materials I'll use more than once, compared to something I'll just use the (likely) one time for cosplaying purposes. Of course, if I like it enough I may always end up going as the same person next year, so I'll consider that too. I'm more than willing to build a costume, or part of one, since I've always been into art, again assuming a reasonable enough price for materials.

Other than price and looks, I don't really have any other restrictions as long as it's a character I know, and/or is preferably from something I at least am familiar enough with. If I'm in the wrong place or something, or more information is needed, just let me know. Thanks in advance.
