Need smarter people than myself to explain Theta to me

Hi Cosmonauts. I'm relatively new to the Cosmos ecosystem, and I have been trying to understand what the Theta upgrade will bring - the part of "host accounts" in particular. What does this mean in simple English, and how will this improve x-chain operability and the user experience?
- Allows the creation of accounts on a "Host" blockchain which is controlled by an authentication module on a "Controller" blockchain.
- Arbitrary messages are able to be submitted from the "Controller" blockchain to the "Host" blockchain to be executed on behalf of the Interchain Account. Will I be able to interact with dapps in other zones from my Kepler wallet without having to change from the Cosmos hub? im confused to say the least
