Fon (1st pic) was one of my first Cories of this batch. Had her since June 2023. Unfortunately has some Ammonia burns and her featured eye is kinda a lazy eye, and her other eye is still whited over (if you have any recommendations, lmk). I’d love to help her (yes she eats, lays eggs, acts fine, but always looks kinda messed up 😭). Both eyes used to be whited over for a long time but earlier this year, the featured eye finally showed itself. She’s my top favorite fish and I love her to death. She’s also the mother of Serenity and Zephy

r! The 2nd pic is my other eggy female, aptly named Eggnog. Been waiting like a month or two for her to drop the eggs already, she’s been super bloated and huge this whole time lol. Why isn’t she laying eggs yet?? I’m kinda concerned at this point. If it’s relevant, been having some low pH problems (6.4-6.6).

Also — this just occurred to me, does Fon’s spine look normal? She’s a mother and is the most popular one with the boys. I realized recently that I can recognize her just based on her profile and not just her burns. And I just started wondering if she has a unique profile or if that’s actually a red flag.
