Here's a cool string set I use on my 12 string Guitar (I use 2 sets of them). Generally speaking if you're stringing a 12 string Guitar for Corridos you have to use 2 sets of Extra Light Gauge Strings (10 to 47) so that there's not too much tension. These are Magma Amalgam Extra Light Gauge Acoustic Guitar Strings which are 9-46 Gauge (9, 13, 18, 26, 36, 46) & they're a bit thinner than the 10-47 Gauge strings that are recommended but that does help alot. I think thinner strings are great for Musicians who have either an injury, lack of mobility, or lack of dexterity in their fretting hand. The word Amalgam means alloy in that it consists of various metals. These strings are named after that term because they're wound in 2 different Metals (Silver Plated Copper & Phosphor Bronze) which creates a rather interesting sound.
