I mean specifically the part where Andy was revealed to still be alive and being held Hostage by Pat for months on end until eventually Pat killed him after making him kill Vinny?
its pretty sad to watch in that we see Andy basically being broken down over time and being reduced to a shivering wreck who was so scared of Pat he didn't even try and fight him anymore and instead just cowered in fear.
and to see him go through all that only to end up dead I'm actually to this day on the fence about.
on the one hand obviously it really sucked seeing Andy go through all that only to end up dead but on the other some real life kidnappings do unfortunately end that way and it was pretty ballsy of Corrie to go to that extreme in ending the story in such a dark way.
really my main problem I think is that Pat's comeuppance felt too cheap seeing him get stabbed and die didn't really do anything for me it felt like he got off way too easy I'd have much preferred it had he survived the stabbing and then been taken to prison for life since that's what he spent the whole storyline trying to avoid.
anyway what do you think of the story?
