Had this fella for under a month now. He tends to stay burrowed in the substrate except at dusk, which I believe is normal but want to make sure isn't related to my setup. 4 hides total, 2 fully enclosed (1 in each temp zone), two partially covered logs (front & back middle along gradient). 2-4" of loose coco husk (Reptichip) which he loves. Moss hide on warm side.
Warm side has sun lamp which provides 87-91F basking, rest of gradient runs 86 down to 76F in darkest spot of cold side during the day. At night I have a very soft purple heat light with an under tank heat mat w/ thermostat that keeps it 81-84F underneath. He does not mind this light. Humidity ranges from 30-40%. Everything is controlled by digital timers, with 4 thermostat gauges plus 2 hygrometers not visible. Any issues??
