California: Which political party do I need to register in, in order to vote for Dr.Cornel West?

As you may know, in the California primary, one is limited on who they can vote for. Republicans can only vote for republicans, Democrats for democrats, and so on. Democrats do allow someone from other parties to vote for them, if you request a democrat ballot.

What party do I need to be in to vote for Dr.Cornel West?

The options are... Green(he left the party in Oct) Libertarian Peace and Freedom Party Other Party

**UPDATE* An e-mail I received "Yes, Dr.Cornel West is one of the three presidential candidates on our primary ballot. Only voters registered in the Peace and Freedom Party will have a chance to vote for him. - Kevin Akin, member of the PFP State Executive Committee"
