Evening Reddit- Hoping someone here has an idea. My grandma (90F) is suffering from dementia and will have to move into a facility. She has had Dish Network for many years and been happy with it but the problem is it can't go with her. She'll have her TV and I can set up a laptop that won't go to sleep with a constant ethernet connection. She is to the point where she can hardly operate a landline phone, let alone a smartphone or a computer. The extent of her ability really at this point is using the remote to turn the TV on or off. She only wants to watch the news (preferably MSNBC). I need to set her up with some service where it'll just run and not switch channels around or bring up an interface of any kind because she'd be completely lost as she can hardly figure out the Dish Network system she's had for 20 years. I know you can watch CNN live on their website with a subscription, would this be a set and forget experience for days on end on the side of the computer? We will be over there to visit often of course but my parents aren't terribly technically literate themselves and I'll only be there twice a week in case something goes wrong. Any advice would be much appreciated.
