Just got Starlink and want to ditch DirecTV satellite. YouTubeâs interface and âDVRâ is clunky and doesnât interest me. So Iâm leaning towards DTV Stream at about $60 a month savings over DTV Satellite for the same Choice package. We have a late model Samsung Smart TV do no problem using DTV streaming. One of our other TVs is a four or five year old Sony. It does a lot of apps but Iâm not sure itâs considered âSmart.â It is connected to the internet, if that helps. What will it take to receive the DTV Stream Service?
Also have an even older Sony in our guest house. Whatâll it take for that TV, if itâs even possible? It has two HDMI outlets and one USB. If it needs a ROKU stick or something like that, is that a one time purchase or a monthly fee?
Thanks!
