Should have Starlink up and running by tomorrow. Currently have DirecTv (non streaming)
We have a Samsung Smart TV. We have active subscription apps for Netflix, Amazon Prime, Apple, MAX, Peacock, Paramount Plus, and probably a couple I am forgetting. Plus all the programming Samsung itself offers. We can see our CBS/NBC network favorites on Peacock and Paramount Plus. I assume there’s similar app for ABC. Peacock may be a freebie from DirecTV. Not sure. But we can add that back. So, all we really need is local news and weather. We watch KHOU (CBS local) based in Houston. If we could get that one station for news, we would have everything we need without paying an extra $75 to $100 a month to YouTube or DTV, etc. for a hundred other channels we don’t need.
We are about 60 miles from the KHOU antenna. Probably too far to get a decent pictures with an OTA antenna though we have a very tall truss style antenna mast.
Any thoughts on filling out our service? Thanks!
