I was sick this weekend and love football. In another era I would have watched all the wildcard games, but I watched none. I am a cord cutter, have no interest in an antenna with its unreliability, hassle and quality. The only games I have watched are the Amazon games, which are wonderful. I wouldn't even mind paying per game, or for all NFL games (when they are played). Peacock just wasn't that interesting to me because I believe if I have to cancel a subscription, I will get a run-around, so I never do subscriptions unless I see long term value, which does not exist for Peacock. Netflix, Disney, and Amazon are valuable subscriptions. I imagine I am not alone, as I see the tensions between monetization, and having the broadest range of viewers. But at some point there has to be a way to watch NFL games in streaming that does not lock out a lot of people.
