It's 2050.
The new phones are being released.
You stand in line for hours to buy one and finally get it after paying 4.5 million dollars.
You get it home.
Open the box.
Fingers trembling.
Inside is a small black square.
Three buttons on the bottom, unlabeled.
You press and hold the first button.
The phone springs to life.
No screen, just 9 ominous red LEDs arranged in a grid.
Such minimalism, my god.
You can't figure out how to open youtube, make a call or access discord.
You don't care.
It's that good.
You ask your friends how to use it.
They are in awe of your amazing consumer productâ„¢
No one knows how to use it.
Sales for the new phone have surpassed 6.3 billion.
Everyone loves it.
Tech reviewers get their hands on it.
10/10s across the board.
A few 11s and even one daring 12.
Getting in your car one day..
Your phone slips out of your hand.
Slow mo.
It's shatters instantly into dust, the only thing left the designer case you bought for it, amazingly without a scratch on it.
Damn.
I never even got a chance to change the wallpaper.
